Today’s prompt dives into one of the deepest secrets of persuasion: not logic, not urgency, not scarcity… imagination.

Copy Prompt

Eugene Schwartz understood this better than anyone.

He knew words weren’t just sentences — they were cinematic triggers that painted a mental movie in the reader’s mind.

He didn’t write “lose weight.”

He wrote, “Feel your jeans slide on effortlessly again.”

He didn’t say “gain confidence.”

He said,“Watch people turn their heads when you walk into the room.”

See the difference?

One informs.

The other transforms.

The Mental Movie Method works like this:

  1. Start with the emotion.

    What do you want your reader to feel? Relief? Pride? Freedom?

  2. Add sensory cues.

    • What would they see, hear, or touch when that feeling becomes real?

    • Example: “Hear the ping of another order coming in while you sip your morning coffee.”

  3. Anchor it to action.

    • Tie that image directly to your offer.

    • Example: “That’s what happens when your welcome flow finally works.”

Today’s Drill:

Take one benefit from your offer.

Don’t describe it — visualize it.

Write a single line that turns the benefit into a living scene.

Because the human brain doesn’t move toward information.

It moves toward imagination.

And when you can make your reader see the promise,

they’ll believe it before they ever think about it.
